Where is the Conference Being Held? 

This year’s TORCH conference is being held in Irving Texas at the Hilton Garden Inn. The conference will be from September 13th through September 15th. 

What Does the Conference Include? 

The TORCH conference will have many opportunities for education and networking including: 

  • Up to 24 continuing education hours for assisted living administrators, including the CALM certificate if requirements are met
  • Continuing education contact hours for Nurses (CNE) and Social Workers (CE)
  • A networking social with business partners
  • An evening of fun with other conference participants including an Axe Throwing Tournament at Stumpy’s Hatchet House.

What will Mitch be Speaking About?

Mitch Alverson is the Founder and CEO of Aveta Marketing which offers digital marketing services exclusively for assisted living facilities. He earned his MBA from the University of Texas at Arlington’s, has been a professional marketer for over 15 years, and is the author of The Book on Digital Marketing for Assisted Living Facilities: How to Get More Tours, More Move-Ins, and More Success for Your ALF.

Mitch will be speaking two times at the TORCH conference this year. His first session will be on Tuesday, September 13th and he will be talking about 5 things you can do to grow your ALF. 

He will also be speaking on Thursday, September 15th and sharing everything you need to know to make sure your senior living website is ready for users and google. 

How To Attend

If you are an assisted living provider, it will highly benefit you to attend this conference. Members of TORCH save $100 on their tickets and those only needing 12 hours of CE (renewing their CALM licensing, rather than getting the initial certification) save an additional $50.
